Spoodles

If it’s happy, non aggressive, bouncy and fun loving you are looking for, look no further than a Spoodle. A cross between a spaniel and a poodle, spoodles love to play as much as kids do, making them an excellent choice as a kid’s pet. “A huge number of the pups I sell go to family homes, with younger or older children, the pups and dogs respond straight away to kids,” Hallmark Kennel’s Nicola Gauld told Rural Living. Not considered a working dog, Spoodles are easily trained and can be smart with livestock if you have the time. With the spaniel and poodle background they love water and retrieving, making them a good, if somewhat unsual choice, as a gun dog. A lot of course depends on how your raise them, but these traits are all inherently there. The Cocker Spaniel is so loyal and loving, and the Poodle is smart and agile. Contrary to the snappy, spoiled image many have of smaller dogs, Spoodles are gentle and affectionate and will climb on the first available lap to be cuddled.
