Some may say we’d have to be off our trollies to tackle the Beachlands and Maraetai Trolley Derby, but entrants were anything but! Held at nearby Omana Regional Park, the annual event saw entrants as young as eight reaching speeds of up to 41kph in their homemade crates, as these photos from our own Wayne Martin reveal.
